Sometimes a corner store can take on a greater purpose. Sometimes the people who gather at the store are drwan to it for more than just the things the store sells. In a sense, such a place become an unlikely nexus of people, ideas and events. Is Auggie's smoke shop such a place?

Beyond the film itself are the actors. Many of them are New Yorkers themselves and enjoyed working on Smoke so much, they spun off tow more short films at the same location along similar themes.
